The parts list shows 2 of them (both item 8), then a heap of other numbers. How do I work out which is the correct one, and what do all the other numbers mean? http:// http:// Secondly, my engine compartment light isn't working. Is there a separate fuse for this little sucker? I found it in the wiring diagram, and everything else that is supposed to come off this circuit works fine. Any ideas? Where do the wires go after they come off the hinge assembly? Almost looks like they go toward the front of the car somewhere (on the LHS). I have a suspicion you might be right because in the book of dark magic (wiring schematics) it shows it coming off the side marker circuit, which obviously would only work with the light switch on.
