Hi All,

I have a 2001 Boxster, the rear tyres are very badly worn on the inside, has anyone had this problem and know who to take it to to fix (in Vic), I will be replacing the rear tryes with new Michelin rubber as the fronts are ok.

Thanks, Peter.

G'day Peter, I am a big rap for TRACTION TYRES, 65 Kelletts Rd, Rowville. 9764 2811. I was having a bit of a wear problem on my 2001 Coxster, took it to them and they duly fixed the problem and supplied a new set of boots all round. The new alignments (on their invoice it is called SPECIALISED GEOMETRY CORRECTION) cost $88.00 back in March 2010. I think they supply to most of the motor-sport and high speed road type vehicles around. Definitely know what they are doing and also advertise in the PCV club magazine from memory. I got Yokies off them, but I just gave them a quick ring and they certainly do Michelins.

I have been very happy with the car since. They also know how to treat alloy/mag wheels

Don't forget too mention you are in the PCV Club if you are a member.

Good luck,

Niko

Niko,

Can you tell me what are the tyres you had fitted (255/40 - 17 & 205/40-17 ?)

Thanks, Pete.

205/50 ZR17's on the front and 255/40 ZR17's on the rear. hope that helps,

Cheers,

Niko
