Odyssey Posted 2May, 2016 Report Share Posted 2May, 2016 Hey! Looking for advice on purchasing tyres for my 2012 Cayenne Diesel - 295/25/21.Have the Pirelli P-Zeros on at the moment and they wore very fast and are VERY hard on the road. I live in Adelaide where the roads are EXTREMELY rough. Pot holes are not my friend! Looking at the Michelin Sport / Sport 3 or Conti cross Contact UHP, but open to other ideas. Does anyone have advice or experience with 21 inch Cayenne tyres. Would very much appreciate your thoughts. Thanks
oldracer Posted 8May, 2016 Report Share Posted 8May, 2016 picked ours up this week and they have Yoky Advans, so far so good, great traction, can't vouch for wear as they are only new, not so loud either
Tips Posted 8May, 2016 Report Share Posted 8May, 2016 I have the 21" Conti's on my ML and get around 30k out of them with a couple of rotations in between (fronts as expected go quicker than rear) and find they are not noisy or too hard in Sydney metro driving and we also get our far share of potholes? DaleAlford Posted 13May, 2016 Report Share Posted 13May, 2016 im only running 20's ( 275/40 ) , but i just went from PZero Rosso's to Conti 4x4Sportcontacts.First impressions are that the Conti's are quieter. SHoulder tread depth on the Pirelli was deeper whereas the Conti's seem to feather off in depth, makes me wonder how long before i have scrubbed off the shoulders completely.....Dale
