Buchanan Automotive Posted 7August, 2016 Report Share Posted 7August, 2016 Today , Sydney Motorsport Park ( Eastern Creek ) , round 3 of the Motorkhana Championship for 2016 Good turn out of 30 - 35 Porsche's competing , like round 2 , this round was held with a wet track all day ( recirculation water taps on ) , which makes it a lot more fun ( sliding / slipping etc )Sean Buchanan in his 1986 951 had a great battle with the usual pointy end of the field , with great drivers like Mark Bloxham in his 997 Carrera , Rodney Loomes in his 987 Cayman S and Andrew Hubbard in his 981 Cayman Mark Bloxham was driving great and was leading Sean for the first session or two , but bit by bit Sean in his 1986 951 ( 3.0L 16V with no ABS ) was getting closer as each session passed & by the end of the day Sean had made no mistakes & was in the lead going into the last session and drove a brilliant fast last session and won the day This gives Sean ( at the moment a lead in the Motorkhana Championship & Drivers Championship ) with one more Supersprint to go & one more Motorkhana round to go , anything could happen , but so far so good Congrats to all who competed today & a special thanks to all the volunteers who made this event possibleRegardsBruce BuchananBuchanan Automotive Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
