Al Posted 24February, 2017 Report Share Posted 24February, 2017 Forgive me if this has been discussed somewhere here. I only jump into the 356 section on occasion as I'm not worthy enough to have a 356.. just a dirty 911. Does anyone know where this lovely old 356 got too? (see pic) It sold at a Launceston Auction in June last year. Just interested to know where she went and what's being done to it.
OBRUT Posted 24February, 2017 Report Share Posted 24February, 2017 A buddy of mine bought it - and is restoring it.
Al Posted 24February, 2017 Author Report Share Posted 24February, 2017 Cool. Thanks. I was tidying up my office desk today and found this article in the pile of paperwork. I put it there to "follow up".

FAP911 Posted 26February, 2017 Report Share Posted 26February, 2017 The chap who purchased it is very handy around 356's so should be quite stunning when done
OBRUT Posted 26February, 2017 Report Share Posted 26February, 2017 They thought about redoing the underside and the mechanicals and leaving the rest ratty. But I think the plan now is end to end resto. They have, and have had, many many 356's over the years.
