Mmg_dave Posted 12March, 2017 Report Share Posted 12March, 2017 Hi All,My dad has been cleaning out his shed and came across some old porsche wheels that I'm hoping you can help me identify. They are kpz steel and aluminum wheels with 19 rivets fixing the centre to the rim and a size of 15 x 5 1/2 and date stamped 8/64 and 9/64 with a part number of 699199.Havent found much info so far but what i can find suggests they are some quite rare original 904 wheels. any info appreciated. Thanks, Dave
LeeM Posted 12March, 2017 Report Share Posted 12March, 2017 Either 904 or maybe 356 Carrera Very rare rims if they are either of the above, and would fetch a fortune overseas. I recall a set of 4 904 rims were sold for well over $10k within the past 2 years in the USA. I'd only be dealing with companies such as Historika, Autofarm or Paul Stephens, all in the UK, or WIllhoit in the USA to get the correct info you need. Don't restore them either! Or you can hand them over to me (I'll even pick them up being in Adelaide!)
TrevMcRev Posted 13March, 2017 Report Share Posted 13March, 2017 They would look awesome on my Boxster Beater concept....but would cost more than the car by the sound of it.
