stcos85 Posted 16November, 2017 Report Share Posted 16November, 2017 Is there any way i can find out how many 356a 's were imported in Australia in 1959.As i am now in the last stages of restoring the car each time i buy parts i am told the car may be pretty rare. Its an australian delivered 59 hardtop convertible so no soft top from the factory and it had a special order stone grey color with black roof and red interior. Is there any way i can find out if there are any other hardtop cenvertibles

Ozvino Posted 19November, 2017 Report Share Posted 19November, 2017 Make contact with the Porsche museum in Germany - they maintain the Porsche archives and may be able to assist. Go to the museums website and email them - they actually respond to emails

Still waiting on the overriders and rails to come back from chroming. Finishing off the electrics which fortunately haven't been messed around with too much and then its onto the interior. Engine is the original one and all the numbers on the panels match
