Hi Guys,

I have another basic Tech question. Every time I to upload a photo on either my profile or on a post I am being told it is two large. I had a couple of photos of last Sunday's morning drive. Any tips?

Regards,

AndyS

Hi Andy,

This might not be the optimum way to compress an image, but it works for me.

Copy the photo to your desktop, since you probably don't want to overwrite it with a compressed version. Open this photo copy with Microsoft Office Picture Manager.

Under the "Picture" option, choose "Compress Pictures". Down the right hand side will appear the "Compress Picture Options". I normally choose the "Web Pages" option. Then "OK". Then Save these changes and this file should be small enough to Upload.

Good luck,

Doug

No problems Andy.

I'm looking forward to seeing some of your pics from the last blast.

HELP.....

I tried to update my profile photo, so I removed my old one, tried to upload a new one, but it says my attempts are being unsuccessful, I am using a MAC, if that makes any difference.

Looks like I shall now only be one of those faceless men, I keep hearing about on the radio.
