Jimmy Posted 28December, 2012 Report Share Posted 28December, 2012 In the process of ordering new sports exhaust from the UK and they have asked me if l want a "power priced invoice" for customs purposes, does any one know what this means. Also has any one heard of exhaust and if they are reputable company and quality products. Any help would be greatly apreciated. We are currently in Brizzy and heading to Mooloolaba for 8 nights and then to the Gold Coast for 2 nights Allready missing the Turbo and PFA, cant wait for our next SMT Regards jim
teknostar Posted 28December, 2012 Report Share Posted 28December, 2012 Sounds like they are offering a lower invoice amount so that you can pay less duty.
wasserkuhl Posted 28December, 2012 Report Share Posted 28December, 2012 What teknostar said. This is definitely what it is. It is basically less VAT (UK GST)
D-banger Posted 28December, 2012 Report Share Posted 28December, 2012 I thought there would be no VAT being that the product is being exported. No GST for entry into Oz if under $1000...unless Gerry gets his way. I'm not sure about duties here.
