wasserkuhl Posted 29January, 2013 Report Share Posted 29January, 2013 Small toyota or Subaru. RELIABLE. In fact, Toyota is the only choice.
Mike Posted 29January, 2013 Report Share Posted 29January, 2013 The Forester is a good solid car that a few of my customers have. In the main, they are trouble free and the worst expense is replacing the cambelt. Good luck with the shopping and decision making!!
Vas Posted 30January, 2013 Report Share Posted 30January, 2013 I have a new Impreza (subaru) Its a very good car. However, I bought a $6000 Corolla for my GF eight years ago. (yes $6000) What a car, nothing has ever gone wrong with it. When I drive it, its like a new car. So quiet inside, with a smooth ride. I will be buying her another when the time comes. withers Posted 30January, 2013 Author Report Share Posted 30January, 2013 I've had 2 Subies previously... a MY02 RS Impreza with the 2.5 and a Forester XS.. both were great cars. The Impreza was a hoot to drive around corners fast! Both good cars... very good. I'll be going for a Toyota once the SLK goes. I'm driving a Getz at the momment. Auto whilst the front bumper gets fixed by insurance (dude backed into SLK and did a runner, i had a very good witness) and its terrible BUT its given me a taste of what it will be like having a 'shopping trolley' (thanks chris I like that one) and I'm feeling like 'we' (PFA) have come up with the best solution for me!!! Thanks guys
