I was trying to decide between a 911 and the Spyder but I absolutely loved the look of the streamliners on the Spyder. BernieK Posted 6September, 2021 Report Share Posted 6September, 2021 I don’t think the chances of getting a vehicle allocated this year are high but if I can get an allocation within six months, I’d be so happy. It’s my first Porsche so very excited about it. My dream over the past 30 years was always to get a 911 and I have worked my butt off to be able to afford one. I was all set on the 911 GTS till I saw the Spyder so keeping my fingers crossed it eventuates. They were much more confident on the timeframe for a 911. Apparently there is a big backorder of 718s.
