The iconic 964 shape meets supercharged power and modern tech.

UK-based Porsche specialist Theon Design has given us a glimpse of its upcoming creation. Based on the 964 series of the iconic sports car, this 911 known as BEL001 derives its code name from the fact that it's the first car for a Belgian client.

Working closely with the firm, the lucky customer is set to receive what is truly a special car. Not only does BEL001 feature a highly advanced suspension system, but is also fitted with the most powerful engine Theon Design has ever produced.

Before any work was carried out, the 964 was stripped to its bare metal shell and rebuilt to 'OEM+' standards, says the company. It's finished in a gorgeous Aquamarine color - based on a '50s Porsche 356 hue.

The innovations on the BEL001, both in terms of its engine and suspension, reflect what Theon Design is all about. We're driven by a determination to hone and sympathetically enhance the classic 911 recipe, using design-led innovation, dynamic focus, and close partnerships with expert suppliers to create the ultimate iteration of the world's most iconic sports car," said Adam Hawley, founder of Theon Design.

Last year, the company debuted the HK002, a one-off creation built for a wealthy Hongkonger. Like the BEL001, it's based on a 964 generation 911. However, this example is powered by a 371-hp 3.8-liter engine.

As for how much the exquisite BEL001 costs, we're not sure. But prices start at ±$409,000 - the same as approximately two and a half examples of the Porsche 911 Turbo. Is it worth it? Judging by the craftsmanship and exclusivity, if you've got the money, it would make a great addition to any Porsche fan's garage.
