_Tony Posted 25March, 2013 Report Share Posted 25March, 2013 Looking on carsales at the moment, price differences are quite broad for not too dissimilar manual 993's. I understand imports will always be cheaper, and cabs not as sought after as coupes. But similar coupes seem to attract large variations as well. Just wanting a guage on what is a fair price on a decent example. Currently on carsales, Cabriolet manuals from around $60k through to $69k Some Coupe examples: UK import $59,990 http://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/porsche-911-carrera-1994-14442256?base=1216&vertical=Car&cr=0&eapi=2&__N=1246%201252%201247%201282%204294963765%204294963638%201216%201622&num=15&silo=Stock&Range=Year%3a1994%2c1997&sort=~Price From around $76k http://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/porsche-911-carrera-1995-14418930?base=1216&vertical=Car&cr=5&eapi=2&__N=1246%201252%201247%201282%204294963765%204294963638%201216%201622&num=15&silo=Stock&Range=Year%3a1994%2c1997&sort=~Price http://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/porsche-911-carrera-1994-14441841?base=1216&vertical=Car&cr=6&eapi=2&__N=1246%201252%201247%201282%204294963765%204294963638%201216%201622&num=15&silo=Stock&Range=Year%3a1994%2c1997&sort=~Price http://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/porsche-911-carrera-1995-13531483?base=1216&vertical=Car&cr=7&eapi=2&__N=1246%201252%201247%201282%204294963765%204294963638%201216%201622&num=15&silo=Stock&Range=Year%3a1994%2c1997&sort=~Price Around $80k and above http://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/porsche-911-carrera-1996-14151490?base=1216&vertical=Car&cr=9&eapi=2&__N=1246%201252%201247%201282%204294963765%204294963638%201216%201622&num=15&silo=Stock&Range=Year%3a1994%2c1997&sort=~Price http://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/porsche-911-carrera-1996-12393074?base=1216&vertical=Car&cr=11&eapi=2&__N=1246%201252%201247%201282%204294963765%204294963638%201216%201622&num=15&silo=Stock&Range=Year%3a1994%2c1997&sort=~Price

D-banger Posted 25March, 2013 Report Share Posted 25March, 2013 It's a market, so different people have different ideas on valuations. What some people value, others discount (and vice versa). Some other factors that can affect perceived 'value', - manual, auto - 2wd, 4wd - mileage - originality - documented service history - colours - options
