franky Posted 19July, 2023 Report Share Posted 19July, 2023 Hey guys, I just got my GTS delivery, thinking of getting a grill set. https://www.zunsport.com/en/product/product?path=76&product_id=5625&filter=339 Does anyone here have something like this? Is it useful? Any other suggestions? Thanks in advance!
Carrera28 Posted 19July, 2023 Report Share Posted 19July, 2023 I have a set of Zun grilles on my 996 and I am happy with them and would definitely get them again. franky
nytelfer Posted 19July, 2023 Report Share Posted 19July, 2023 I haven’t tried the Zunsport grilles but did purchase a set of the Rennline grilles on the understand they didn’t require holes to be drilled in the outer face of the bumper (at least on a 981 Boxster/Cayman). That said, I didn’t fit them in the end as the fixing mechanism was vague & not well detailed in the instructions. In replacement, I purchased a set from the Radiator Grille Store and have been happy with them - inexpensive, well finished & no drilling of holes with the grilles secured by small zip ties. franky and TwoHeadsTas
donR Posted 20July, 2023 Report Share Posted 20July, 2023 I'd also recommend RGS grills as above. The Zunsport are good but they kind of sit in front, whereas the RGS sit behind. If you are handy you can make a carboard template and buy some grill material of you're liking and make your own. This is what I did but the RGS design is the same, just saves you a lot of time. https://www.radiatorgrillstore.com/porsche?Boxster%2FCayman+(2001-2016)=981+(2014-16)
