911CSR Posted 25July, 2023 Report Share Posted 25July, 2023 Thought some might find it useful, I just had a Wavetrac front LSD installed into my 996.2 C4S. Whilst is certainly wasn;t a plug and play affair as there was some machining needed to make it fit, the end result was certainly worth it. The housing needs some slight machining of an oil baffle to clear the new diff as well as a small adjustment to fit past the pinion. This maybe a C4S tiptronic vs turbo front pinion different however it wasn't anything major other than a lot of measuring etc. Huge thanks to Ryan and the team at Autowerks for doing all the work to get it in the car. Definitely a worth while upgrade for anyoen runnign a 4wd 996 as the difference in teh front end traction is night and day.
