wasserkuhl Posted 21August, 2013 Report Share Posted 21August, 2013 those are cool as, but something about the headlights isn't quite right - 911 ones? No, they are early 911/356 Light units, Sealed Beam, looks strange on a speedster body as the front clip has a whole different sculpture to the original Speedsters. Walter Rohrl owned one of the above 356C speedsters. This was taken from an Excellence article , wasn't it Cal? The bottom motor appears to be a Polopoulos 4 Cylinder, Now I'll have to go and find the article!!

wasserkuhl Posted 22August, 2013 Report Share Posted 22August, 2013 I was drooling over a garage last night, within it was : 1965 356 SC, 1958 Convertible D(yep a real one), 1994 964 Cab Tip(minter 80k kms on it) and for good measure a 63' VW 21 Window Samba Bus with a 2.4 Stroker in it. The samba looked stock and period correct but has a Disc brakes and a nutbag empi 2.4 Crate motor in it. He just sold his McRae 550 Spider with a 1600 Super Pushrod in it.......
