356 too cheap?

Recommended Posts

I'd have to say that its not too cheap, but does look to be quite a good example.

They state its a rust free car which is GOLD for the 356's as to repair them requires a gifted craft-person with the metal.

It is a Karman Bodied 356C model, so its what they called the 'Damen-Model' or 'Ladies Model'.

It comes with a 75Bhp Type 616 Porsche Pushrod flat 4. It has twin Zenith carbies.

It also has 4 Wheel disc brakes from factory.

$29k (which is now closer to 30k AUD) is cheap. If this car was in Australia, from the photo's, I'd suggest this would be a 55-75k Car, perhaps more.

I suspect that these cars are under priced and may also be bait adverts to get you interested.

Mmmmmmm, not sure if I could put up with driving a 'ladies model', but at that price it is hard to find a reason not to buy it.

Of course, the mowf is one reason:-D

STill intend to add one of these to my shed one day. Had planned a 356 convertible replica, but think I might hit the realthing bbit with a roof

That Monaro looks like its got VIC plates, also is that a gum tree in England, I'm suss.

(also the first two photo's are the same photo reversed, look at the number plate).

It is a little bit suss, however all the cars listed seem to be in their country of origin. So I would guess that this website is proporting to be an agent and administration service linking buyers to cars from all over the world.

Pricing is low on most of the cars listed, the RS SS Camaro is way low(for a real RS SS) and the 912 is about 60% lower than it should be..........

somethings not right in Circle K here. "What Fraud, on the internet? Proposterous dear boy...."

Definitely suss! The 912 is the same car I saw for sale on ebay in Tokyo a few weeks back.  The close up of the body plate is the same.

Tread carefully with this lot.
