I have driven the current & older Boxters, Caymans, Manual, double clutches, S and non S variants

Nice for a while but always looked foward to hopping back into a 911.

No disrespect to people who own these cars but IMHO the 911 has got that something

special that the others dont, but hey thats just me.

I have the PDK Cayman and yes, it takes a little getting used to. I find rolling starts are not so great. If you are fully stopped and put your foot down they can really take off like a slingshot. I have done the odd track day and find just leaving it in auto mode seems the best. It really stays in gear all the way to redline and drops down when you need to. Awesome car to drive at speed and it's grip levels are extremely high. I have had a few 911 drivers take it around the track and each were really impressed with how it was so balanced and cornered. I have the base model and it is great fun, but am sure the more powerful S would be a seriously quick thing which for the money and it will nip at the heals of the 911.
