9er Posted 23February, 2014 Report Share Posted 23February, 2014 These are from the last of the USA made supply. Thick flange, I believe suits 1981 and onward. The price of SSI has risen steeply and I believe are currently at about $2200 for the new non USA version. These are new in the box including the special spanner. Price is $1950, thanks. tazzieman Posted 24February, 2014 Report Share Posted 24February, 2014 I kick myself for not having invested in a dozen sets when I heard the company was being sold. Fortunately I grabbed a pair for my own devices !

JustJames Posted 24February, 2014 Report Share Posted 24February, 2014 I'm posting in the interests of clarifying, and not trying to mess with 9er's sale... The SSI's I currently have list as different sets for SC and 3.2. Bear in mind also that for SC's (and 3.2's) there are two oil pipes that need to be replaced with parts used on earlier cars - part numbers 91110772910 and 91110773910. SSI's also need a "two in" muffler. 9er, if you are in any way unhappy with my post, please drop me a PM and I will delete it immediately.
9er Posted 24February, 2014 Author Report Share Posted 24February, 2014 OK my fault. Not enough information.part number 91.917SSI1623105212Link to parts http://www.sierramadrecollection.com/store/cart.php?m=product_detail&p=9126My understanding is that to use these on an earlier cars e.g. SC the short length of tube that can be seen at the flange just needs to be removed which is easily done. 9er Posted 24February, 2014 Author Report Share Posted 24February, 2014 If they don't sell I plan to do the above mod and fit them to my 2.2 litre engine that is going in my '65 car just using longer exhaust studs. The headers themselves dont change for each model its the flange and perhaps O2 bungs that are slightly different. 9er Posted 9June, 2014 Author Report Share Posted 9June, 2014 I had more or less decided to keep them and just use longer head studs on my project but I guess they are still for sale. Regards Chris NO LONGER AVAILABLE
