hugh Posted 26August, 2014 Report Share Posted 26August, 2014 As some of you may or may not know local Porsche specialist Spencer Harrison from Harrison's RRR recently had an accident. I just wanted to make mention that he is well, on the mend and already back in the workshop doing what he does best - working on Porsches. Seems he is better at this than riding motorbikes, although I understand he is also pretty handy on his Gas Gas (or was at least!). He currently has my custody of my 77 and thought it was worth a mention to anyone concerned or unsure of the effects his condition may have on the workshop. Seems business as usual! Over and out. Mike737 Posted 26August, 2014 Report Share Posted 26August, 2014 Glad to hear that Hugh. I originally sought advice on a '78 911 SC. He gave me some great advice but I unfortunately/thankfully ended up with a later model. He was supporting a fantastic collection of cars down at the PI classic this year. Really down to earth nice guy.
Pauly Posted 26August, 2014 Report Share Posted 26August, 2014 I only know of him as he works on Bruces 944 turbo. Hope he's all well! It's never good when an accident occurs

Really down to earth nice guy. I met Spencer very early on in my Porsche quest, prior to him opening his own shop. I have now known him for quite some time and can only regard him as one of the most genuine, honest and capable Porsche guys in the paddock. He looks after some amazing cars, its a testament to his ability and reputation. Anyone looking for a good workshop should get in touch, especially the air cooled folk! Airhead Posted 26August, 2014 Report Share Posted 26August, 2014 He raced his Carrera in Group S for years without a scratch. When he told me he was racing dirt bikes I questioned his sanity/reason/logic. It made sense to him at the time. Must ask him again…. Get well soon Spencer.
