EOI: 1990 964 OEM Stereo

The previous owner of my 964 installed a very tasteful Nakamichi head unit and as such, I can't see myself going back to the OEM head unit which was supplied with the vehicle.

I'm a big believer in keeping the OEM parts but this is something I am unsure I will ever revert to.

As such, I'm offering up the OEM head unit as an expression of interest.

I'm not sure what they are worth so open to offers, I'm not expecting it to be worth a squillion but if it's not worth selling, I will hold on to it.

Unfortunately I do not have the security code but I do have the original instruction manual which is of course included.

I am under the impression that it works no problem but I did not remove it from the car.

It looks to be in very good condition, slight bubbling on some of the buttons expected for the age.

OEM stereos for these era of cars are going for crazy money in Europe -

Mine was fitted with a Blaupunkt Symphony RDS, and I have been hoping to hoard a spare one, but unrefurbished units have been going for 300-500 Euros, and refurbished for 500-1000 Euros!

Actually I'm not sure that I've ever seen this particular unit before, and I've looked at a lot of 964s, but they usually have non-original stereos fitted. I would actually suggest that this unit with the Eurovox Australia sticker intact is rare and potentially valuable as the local collector market for these cars heats up.
