Rob Posted 26October, 2014 Report Share Posted 26October, 2014 Who woulda' thunk it - a 928 engine in a Boxster! Lots of great P-car builds coming from the Scandinavian countries - must be the long winters...

tazzieman Posted 26October, 2014 Author Report Share Posted 26October, 2014 During the long winters you either get busy or drink yourself silly. Truth.

333pg333 Posted 27October, 2014 Report Share Posted 27October, 2014 Not sure I believe the quoted power figures. I'm sure someone can do the math but with only 7psi I'm not feeling the love. Interesting project. One that was built some years back at PR Technology in Brookvale was Ian Murray's Black beauty that was widened and fitted with a GT3 motor. Amazing build quality. Not for the budget conscious.

Good point. Numbers are kinda irrelevant , what matters if anything is its performance under the stress of some sort of competition.

Interesting project. Agreed. 507kW at the wheels @ 7 psi sounds optimistic. Either there is more boost or less power than quoted I reckon.
tazzieman Posted 28October, 2014 Author Report Share Posted 28October, 2014 Google 928oxster In 2011 it was at ~500hp , apparently. Who knows what voodoo has happened since?
