Peter M Posted 18April, 2015 Report Share Posted 18April, 2015 About 150 buck USD for new genuine so you would have to weigh up whether it is worth fixing and considering how annoying it would be if it's not reliable:https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/porsche-seat-switch-911-944-928-968-80943022001I'd call James at Autohaus. Kris Posted 20April, 2015 Report Share Posted 20April, 2015 Mine just crapped out too. I found a post on pelican where someone pulled it apart and cleaned the contacts. I'd give that a go first.

Kris Posted 23April, 2015 Report Share Posted 23April, 2015 While we're on this topic - did both the back / forward and tilt switches fail at the same time? I was playing around with the 993 before and both switches are gone. Just before it failed, the back / forward movement was really slow, so I would have thought the other half would be ok. Peter M Posted 23April, 2015 Report Share Posted 23April, 2015 Kris, Could it be that you've blown the fuse? Two switches failing simultaneously sounds odd. Maybe the seat screw jacks require lubricating? Always something to be done on an old car!
