Carrera86 Posted 26April, 2015 Report Share Posted 26April, 2015 For some reason my car came factory with the third brake light (ET) style ... after searching the old forum notes ect looks like in that year they were a factory option but if you remove it you left with two ugly holes , so live with it or pay to get the boot fixed . Dusty Posted 26April, 2015 Report Share Posted 26April, 2015 After seeing it in the flesh - it's a great car, I wouldn't change it. I always thought 3rd brake lights were aftermarket on a 3.2 but if you know it was a factory option, all the more reason to keep it I say.
Paul Carrera Posted 26April, 2015 Report Share Posted 26April, 2015 I guess if you like it leave as is but if it bugs you remove it Filling a couple of small holes and touching up would be pretty easy on a non metallic paint I would think I don't think it would affect value or desirability either way but hang onto it it can always go back on Nice car BTW
GUT Posted 3May, 2015 Report Share Posted 3May, 2015 You could just plug the holes with rubber plugs. Easy return to original, cheap and you'd hardly notice it.
Coastr Posted 3May, 2015 Report Share Posted 3May, 2015 I'd keep it. It's part of the car.
