rafikdous Posted 10August, 2015 Report Share Posted 10August, 2015 I would say think about what you want to achieve. If you are to convert it, look for a car up to a T5. T6 onwards are a bugger to convert because of the fuel tank shape. I converted my T5 myself, pretty straight forwardtransplanting another engine might seem like a great idea and I am sure it's a great piece of engineering. Would you get that much performance difference? Don't know. Consider the added weight etc, you might be disappointedmy '58 race 356 with twin plugs 1720 engine has 110 hp at the wheels which gives it great power 2 weight ratiogood luck Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
