edgy Posted 5April, 2016 Report Share Posted 5April, 2016 I believe so think they are the same in the early 997's also. Harvs are you saying you have an RS unit?996 = side exit997 = Centre exit You can run the 997 setup on 996 but you need the muffler brackets from 997 and the Cup centre exit bar. What exactly are you trying to do Michael? I know of some exhausts but not sure if they'll suit you.

edgy Posted 5April, 2016 Report Share Posted 5April, 2016 So gen 2 centre exhaust?gave read of adapting gt3 to earlier cars No ALL 997 onwards is centre exit. Only Gen 2 996 Cup is centre exit, your best looking for a OEM 997 rear centre muffler if thats what you want to do! http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/collingwood/other-parts-accessories/porsche-gt3-997-2-exhaust-muffler/1107956344
