poetry911 Posted 27August, 2016 Report Share Posted 27August, 2016 Hi guysListing my 88 911 cabriolet. It's on car sales as well and I've dropped the price from 72,000 to 49,000. Im firm on price as I'm not even sure I should be listing it for $49,000 as well:) but seem to be getting a lot more traction. As per carsales ad.Any thoughts? Should I keep it? Bump up price.https://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/Porsche-911-Carrera-1989/SSE-AD-4222420Robert
Mike D'Silva Posted 27August, 2016 Report Share Posted 27August, 2016 What's it like underneath? I've seen a couple of uk imports, and some can get pretty darn crusty...On the surface of it all, the price seems fair.

OBRUT Posted 27August, 2016 Report Share Posted 27August, 2016 I've been keeping an eye on SC and 3.2 cabs for a good while now (for an oddball project). My 2c: If you get a near offer you should probably take it. They appear to be hard things to shift, and price seems to be the only lever. I think your (linen?) interior is kinda cool, but I would expect that many won't.Have you thought about sending it back to the uk? Despite the weather, the Brits seems to love cabs. 9er Posted 28August, 2016 Report Share Posted 28August, 2016 Hi Robert,I stopped counting at 20 Cabs for sale on Carsales. If you bought right, you paid considerably less than your asking price (Assumption made),any time you can own a car and get out without losing dosh has got to be a good time? Traction is what you need , not wasted time on TXT and email.
poetry911 Posted 30August, 2016 Author Report Share Posted 30August, 2016 All good and done. It started at 72 and I eventually found a price point of 49 with someone that didn't waste time at all with buying it.Now time for the 89 Coupe to go also.
