Apogee Posted 21September, 2016 Report Share Posted 21September, 2016 Does anyone know what brand of batteries do the the 987 Cayman/Boxster use? Is it Varta or Borsch?
Niko Posted 21September, 2016 Report Share Posted 21September, 2016 Are you talking original equipment? Or a recommended after market type?

BAFE Posted 21September, 2016 Report Share Posted 21September, 2016 I think its a Varta I bought my replacement from Battery World
911sies Posted 21September, 2016 Report Share Posted 21September, 2016 Bafe is right. It is Varta. Worth considering the OEM branded model if your car is still under any warranty. There have been cases of warranty issues if an aftermarket battery is fitted. Otherwise, the (battery) world's your lobster...or something like that. Thanks guys BTW, shouldn't that be oyster not lobster. Although, lobsters are usually more expensive. :)

As a Porsche owner, friends, family and restaurant staff assume I have unlimited means, so I thought I'd just go with it. The more you say it, the more fun it is to say!.
