OzJustin Posted 21November, 2017 Report Share Posted 21November, 2017 Does your Turbo hit 2 bar as well Stephen? I know they're basing it off the stock 2 bar gauge but still...

It goes exactly how that guy describes it, mine has 300hp from being chipped also, that's the only mod, goes like stink when you want it to. There are guys on here getting way more power than I've got.
Buchanan Automotive Posted 21November, 2017 Report Share Posted 21November, 2017 Remember , the 951 standard boost gauge reads absolute pressure , not just boost pressure , so the standard ( very conservative/ low ) boost pressure of say .8 Bar will read on the standard gauge a reading of 1.8 Bar So in other words, 1 Bar on the gauge is atmospheric pressure at sea level and anything over 1 Bar " indicated" is the Boost Pressure Regards Bruce Buchanan

OzJustin Posted 22November, 2017 Report Share Posted 22November, 2017 Thanks Bruce. We were having a laugh but good for others to know their Turbo isn't really producing 29psi. It's funny seeing some modern stock road cars are well into the 20s in stock form. Crazy times...
Carrot01 Posted 22November, 2017 Report Share Posted 22November, 2017 Yeah, my stock 2016 Golf R was in the low 20's with just a piggyback tuning box - would have been a mid 12sec car easily - spun up all 4 with launch control too :-)
