Ashbaxter Posted 9May, 2019 Report Share Posted 9May, 2019 In search of the next project a 356 outlaw now is becoming more appealing I want a RHD but don’t think I should use an Aussie delivered matching numbers restoration project like the one coming up at Shannon’s. A left to right conversion or bastardised base would be ideal anything out there? cheers ash
Peter John Posted 9May, 2019 Report Share Posted 9May, 2019 You love a punishment?! There was one local to me, was listed here and on gumtree, was marked as sold, maybe search and follow up on if it did sell.

Cam Arnott Posted 22May, 2019 Report Share Posted 22May, 2019 Ash, I know of a matching numbers car but its a lefty. I think from memory its a T6B. If this is of interest I can see if its still available. Someone was sniffing on it a little while back but I don't think a deal was done. Cheers
Ashbaxter Posted 23May, 2019 Author Report Share Posted 23May, 2019 Thanks Cam but holding out for a RHD will keep in mind though Been in touch with speedster clinic in the uk, they make a pretty good looking 356a replica coupe
Ashbaxter Posted 28June, 2019 Author Report Share Posted 28June, 2019 Anyone done LHD to RHD conversion or know of someone that can do it? https://www.carsales.com.au/cars/details/1965-Porsche-356C-Manual/SSE-AD-6152332?pageSource=details&id=SSE-AD-6152332
rafikdous Posted 29June, 2019 Report Share Posted 29June, 2019 I did a conversion on a T5 before, straight forward T6s are much more complicated due to the different fuel tank. I would avoid
