wilch Posted 12November, 2012 Report Share Posted 12November, 2012 Hi all, Thought I'd start an intro thread. I'm Wil, Amanda986's partner, and a huge fan of Porsche's. Hoping to one day add an older 911 to our garage. Though, finding one that's the right fit is proving to be tough. It was much easier to find Amanda's Boxster with her. Anyway, I like car's, guitar's, and photography. You might have seen some of my shots in Amanda's intro thread. I'm also going through a phase at the moment where I'm re-doing old 80's theme songs whenever I get some spare time. Here's a couple: Magnum P.I. Theme Knight Rider Theme Anyway, I hope to meet some of the Sydney members at some point!

Caver Posted 13November, 2012 Report Share Posted 13November, 2012 Niko, Theo, You guys don't miss a thing do you? If you're referring to the "Administrator" tag, I've received a temporary "promotion" to assist Kerry with tidying up the Forum Database. Specifically, I'll be creating State specific mailing groups and assigning Forum members to those groups, where I can identify their state of domicile. This is so that targeted messages can be sent out to members, to promote such things as the Australian Capital Targa run next February and local SMTs. It's not enough to publish these events on the Forum, when a lot of members don't regularly access the Forum. Of course, I can only work with the data available. Most people have put down a location on their profiles, however, there are a lot of blanks and one even states "hiding under my bed". Might put that one in the state of denial! :-) My day job is a specialist SAS programmer, so a bit of Database Administrator work is fairly routine and I'm glad to be able to assist Kerry. I'm also grateful for the trust he has extended to me in allowing me access. So watch out Niko...those 732 posts can be wiped out in an instant and you'll be back to Rookie status! :-)
Niko Posted 14November, 2012 Report Share Posted 14November, 2012 I thought you might have been deputised to keep those rascally N.S.W. people in line!
