Arne Krix Posted 20April, 2021 Report Share Posted 20April, 2021 The Austrian Club in Heidelberg hosted an event for all cars rear engine. Fantastic display of well over100 cars. Majority of VW and Porsche cars , but s good mix of Renault , Fiat , Ferrari , Maserati , etc. The standout for me was a 58 Messerschmitt. We saw a number of familiar faces , Doug , Dalai , Erwin and many more. The weather was great and the food in the cafe was heavenly. Blackforest cake , Frankfurters , German Beer from the tap. The attention to detail and quality of restored cars was outstanding. Puts my beetle project to shame. Only 2 crocs on the day , after all we are ‚mid engine‘ , not ‚rear‘. Nobody seemed to mind.
