jakroo Posted 25January, 2022 Report Share Posted 25January, 2022 I think this is an amazing thing to see.....just how these sometimes incredibly troublesome and infuriating things actually work! Peter M, Carrot01 and LeeM

Peter M Posted 10March, 2022 Report Share Posted 10March, 2022 Great photography! It reminds you how significant the fuel film is on the inside of the inlet manifold/port and reason for transitional enrichment to replace/maintain this film in response to changes in throttle opening to ensure a smooth running and responsive engine. ie the walls need to adequately wet with fuel before the engine will run and accelerate otherwise the gas flow will be too lean to burn reliably. Rob Posted 11March, 2022 Report Share Posted 11March, 2022 Yes, great photography, but I'm surprised that a mechanical engineer should be so amazed by the 4 stroke cycle and the Bernoulli Principle. Didn't he learn this at uni? But thanks for posting😄
