Buchanan Automotive Posted 17February, 2013 Report Share Posted 17February, 2013 PCNSW had their first motokhana of the year yesterday. Held out at eastern creek skid pan. We had some good weather and a good turn out. I believe about 40 Porsche's an Aston and the usual Evo and lotus's. Rob Scheeren turned up in the afternoon and took some great pictures of the competitors. 9fan Posted 17February, 2013 Report Share Posted 17February, 2013 Hi Sean, How did you go in the results ? The 944s love these events - I've had a 3rd and 4th Outright in the humble S2. Cheers, Mark.

We had a good little battle with Tim the club captain in his 911 IROC rep. Tim got the jump on the field in the first 4 dry events, he had just over a 3 second lead going into the wet patterns. This is where we reeled him in. within the first wet pattern we overtook Tim for the lead and stayed there until the end. Being a Motokhana its much more important to remain consistent with no wrong directions(10sec penalty) and hit no cones(5sec penalty). Its a great safe event to practice car control. Looks like A LOT of fun! And who might this be then?! Kerry Sprung! You got me kerry.Thats my concentration face. Sean

9fan Posted 21February, 2013 Report Share Posted 21February, 2013 Great to hear Sean, your spot on with the learning element ! I try to get the club to have more, but the trackers stand a chance of being beaten so they vote against it. Cheers,Mark.
