bignoisebang Posted 8July, 2022 Report Share Posted 8July, 2022 Hi All, I recently fixed my 996.1 convertible roof at a cost of $3.5K and did the worst thing last month. The roof auto opened by the key in the ignition and as there was something on the roof it folded back and snapped some of the metal rods. Just been told it's $1K for the metal part and two weeks to fit and they don't know if anything else is broken. So, I am a broken man but hoping to buy a used item and replace the whole thing with a new top or open to any other ideas.
