Agreed, very nice

Thanks AIMR.  Had her nearly 2.5 years and am very happy.  Bought from Rob at RSR.  I looked at some pretty ordinary cars before I turned up at his place and was pretty taken when I saw this one.  All of a sudden I just had to have it.

I'm impressed by Rob, he seems a very decent fellow.

Hi Amanda.  Yes.  Specialising in Porsche and the expertise that goes with that is good too.  I remember thinking that I wouldn't be scared of any of the cars he had for sale at the time when I bought mine.  This is not an intentional RSR plug by the way and I've got no affiliation but it's worth passing on good experiences.

I really like the black sc he has there at the moment. If only I had the garage space.........

He is very knowledgable and not pushy at all.

I drove that one with the Sporto.  That car is very very nice, I was/am tempted by it but I know that I really don't want a black car and prefer a Targa. I won't be happy long term if I don't buy what I want.  I've told him thats what I'm after, so if he sees something he can keep me in mind.  He values his reputation and he doesn't want hassles post sale.. so he only sells the best cars he can find.

After driving the SC, I hopped back in the SLK.. and at the lights dropped the roof down. At that moment I just knew that I had to wait for a Targa to come along.  Not a Cab either.. I want the Targa!

In saying that tho,  obviously a PPI should be performed independently   I'm saying that so you all know that that is what I would do regardless of where I buy the car.

I totally agree with you Glenn.  Nothing wrong with stating good experiences on a forum like this.  It can help those (like me) that are a bit gunshy buying privately.
