Short Drone Test (on a private road of course!)

Recommended Posts

Thanks Mike, I'm sure it was not intentional.

The exhaust on my 911 is free flowing, makes good horsepowa, has greatly reduced drone but I'm getting old and intolerant - and at this time of the year, a slightly more effective heater would be a bonus.

My dream is zero drone, twin outlets, more effective heat exchanger, all set up to match my rather non standard big bore monster engine.  So when I read your thread descriptor and knowing that you've played with exhausts, I thought "aha!"

Has anyone found a good, zero drone free flowing exhaust?  My 911 is an '84 with GT3 crank and rods, direct to head throttle bodies, fast road cams, twin sparks, high comp, 3.6L one owner since new.  I love the car (obviously) and have tried different exhaust systems and the one on the car is good, but I'm looking for nirvana.  All suggestions welcomed.
