911 Posted 31July, 2023 Report Share Posted 31July, 2023 Hi all, Does anyone know what type of clip nuts mount onto the front number plate bracket? I'm looking to buy a set, but want to get the right ones. If anyone knows the spec, part number, or even a photo would be greatly appreciated. Previous owner was a bit lazy and just mounted the number plates in new holes above.

Not certain if they are available for every model, but you can purchase all the correct mounting hardware from Porsche parts. Which means you can also ask them what specs are correct for your model if you prefer to purchase elsewhere. 911
autojack Posted 31July, 2023 Report Share Posted 31July, 2023 I bought a set of nylon square snap in thingies, and screws, at the auto parts store. In little packs where they keep all the hardware. The nylon things snap into those big holes. Then you screw the plate into the nylon. sus911 and 911
Peter M Posted 2August, 2023 Report Share Posted 2August, 2023 Called a "Special Nut" - 999 591 498 40 But I'd just use what autojack suggested or a captive "U" speed nut. Both available at auto parts stores
