Chris-p Posted 15September, 2013 Author Report Share Posted 15September, 2013 Yep very happy Mark. Really transformed the car. As far as in the WET, well I may never know.... C
GC9911 Posted 24September, 2013 Report Share Posted 24September, 2013 Got to finally give the new Direzza's a try out this morning. Am stunned at the difference they have made to the car. Smoother, quieter and the grip and confidence they give is amazing. The inherent understeer typical of the 993 has disappeared. Certainly the biggest improvement I have ever made on a car. A very big thank you to Theo for his advice and recommendation. AWESOME! C I was at my tyre dealers yesterday & there was a guy there with a Golf R changing a VERY worn set of 888,s for the Dunlop Dirreza's, we had a chat & he told me he had done some mods to the car ( really an understatement when we got down to it, 330kw at the wheels etc, etc ) the Dirreza's looked amazing, apparently he sourced them from Stuckeys, they really looked the beans. 9fan Posted 24September, 2013 Report Share Posted 24September, 2013 I ran an SMT last weekend, had 888's front and Dirreza's rear. Not a squeak from the front, a few skwirms from the rear whereas I wouldn't have had it with 888's there. For me a $120 cheaper each for 888's.
