Russ Posted 19October, 2013 Report Share Posted 19October, 2013 apparently theres a tool in the fuse box to remove broken keys, it's also good for stuck CD's otherwise, theres some posts on the net about using another CD to nudge the CD into the mechanism and then it should be able to be ejected (was it a burnt CD? theres issues with those too due to thickness or something)
Russ Posted 19October, 2013 Report Share Posted 19October, 2013 oh, and i found this too If none of these tricks work, this is what you have to do... Unplug battery, take out your PCM (Instruction here somewhere on 6speed, ifnot pm me), once its out, unscrew 3 tiny torx screw on top to remove the upper part of PCM (very easy), and now you can see the CD, just remove it with your hands, voila! Orion03 Posted 19October, 2013 Author Report Share Posted 19October, 2013 Found it on rennlist, turn off pcm, turn off car, wait few minutes, do not start car, press CD eject button... That worked. Got the CD out, turns out the wife put it in upside down.
