Buchanan Automotive Posted 29October, 2013 Report Share Posted 29October, 2013 Hi Guys, Over the weekend the porsche club of NSW held its last sprint for the year. We had great weather for the event, Sunny and not too hot. We had a great day and pulled a PB of 1:07.9 on the new circuit, but the biggest achievement on the day was from local forum member Patrick (333pg333) and his 944 turbo. It was blisteringly quick and took the fastest time of the day beating every GT3/ GT2 and even the GT3RSR cup car that were using slicks. (patrick's 951 was using Rspec tyres). There was some great machinery there on the day and it was run flawlessly with no accidents or hiccups. Up first is our practice session, I was a bit easy as the car was feeling a bit loose(so was the brain trying to remember the correct lines through the new bits) Check out Patricks 951 at the 2:25 minute mark as its flys right by us. Turn the quality to 1080 Our fastest session here And chasing down a GT3

Buchanan Automotive Posted 31October, 2013 Author Report Share Posted 31October, 2013 Hi Steve, I have the camera mounted (via the GOPR suction cap extension) to the factory sunroof. I removed the lining and stuck it on. Only to quickly realise that it shook pretty badly while driving. I then used 2 aluminium strips and used them as support to triangulate the mount. It seems pretty good now. The original quality is much better but youtube dulls the resolution when uploading, even for 1080p. I will take a picture of the mount and post it up Regards Sean Wow - great pics and vids. Can I ask where/how you have your camera mounted? pocketscience Posted 1November, 2013 Report Share Posted 1November, 2013 Thanks Sean - I thought most tracks had issues with suction mounts? Maybe with your additional mounts that alleviated the concern.. Cheers,
