webrest Posted 15November, 2013 Report Share Posted 15November, 2013 Dad thinks he's amazing until his child becomes isolated and called w@nker by the other children................ Excellent observation Hugh. I laughed out loud when I read it. I was thinking the exact same thing at the time. Maybe you could put the poor kid in a little sailor suit.to finish off the look. That would ensure him of a decent kicking behind the shelter sheds Dave
Rossnall Posted 15November, 2013 Report Share Posted 15November, 2013 I got my son a balance bike from KMart for under $40. About 3 uses including me telling him to push with both feet at the same time so he could balance and he started riding his pedal push bike properly. Would have hated to have wasted over $400 for 3 uses!

pocketscience Posted 16November, 2013 Report Share Posted 16November, 2013 Put my kids straight onto real bikes... none of this new-age balance bike stuff... that's why God gave you knees and elbows - to let you know you were balancing incorrectly.
