withers Posted 13December, 2013 Report Share Posted 13December, 2013 +1 +2 Yeh so one of Calvin's mechanics is taking BB Chris 993 out for at 1000km odd drive? Isn't that the type of mileage required to break in a engine?

Running in or for want of a better phrase, going easy on it, is the longer distance you mention Dave
ByronBayChris Posted 14December, 2013 Author Report Share Posted 14December, 2013 Ok, so bedding in done by Calvin, and I still go easy for 1000km. Varying the rpm and not redlining

It might be better for your man Calvin to bed it in and you just take your time with it for the duration. Dave.
ByronBayChris Posted 23December, 2013 Author Report Share Posted 23December, 2013 Well the car is ready, and I am in Byron Bay (car is still in Melbourne). So have decided to send it in January to get the rear window sorted. Calvin has recommended a guy around the corner from him.....anyone have any other thoughts?
