Eddy Posted 24March, 2014 Report Share Posted 24March, 2014 Early Saturday morning I stopped my car before the traffic light in Burke road( before enter eastern freeway), few seconds later I noticed the camera behind me flashed twice? I don't think I done anything wrong. Does any one have same experience?
cyberpunky Posted 24March, 2014 Report Share Posted 24March, 2014 camera could be faulty. Usually a dual flash is when some one has sped through. I have had a camera flash when stopped but never heard anything so I think when they see a stopped car doing nothing wrong it goes no further. May have been a car going the other way ? SteveF Posted 24March, 2014 Report Share Posted 24March, 2014 This has happened to me before. I did get a fine in the mail but when I queried it they obviously checked the photo and was not taken further.
Eddy Posted 24March, 2014 Author Report Share Posted 24March, 2014 I returned to the camera after work, i parked my car on opposite side and watch, I noticed it happened to other cars too. That's bad
Pauly Posted 24March, 2014 Report Share Posted 24March, 2014 Wouldn't worry about it. Take note of the date it happened so if you get one, ask for the proof. ( a cool photo of your car ) Sometimes it flashes for testing purposes too.
Russ Posted 25March, 2014 Report Share Posted 25March, 2014 is it a combined speed/red light camera?
tony1 Posted 25March, 2014 Report Share Posted 25March, 2014 in NSW if they are both speed and redlight cameras, you can trigger them off by slightly encroaching on the white stop line, the second picture is to see if you have gone through the intersection.
