cyberpunky Posted 20March, 2015 Report Share Posted 20March, 2015 For face book users Post is here In the facebook post JMG Porsche(allegedly a well respected Porcshe specialist) says UK Porsche 944 prices have doubled in last 6 months and he predicts are likely to double again in near future. He also says 928 prices are following suit. Time to get on any low K unmodified examples as going the same way as aircooled 911's he states. Anyway not sure how respecteed they are or how accurate his prediction will turn out to be, but interesting to see speculation, favouring our little water pumpers
Coastr Posted 20March, 2015 Report Share Posted 20March, 2015 A rising tide lifts all boats. Most guys who talk up values are usually in the auction or valuation biz so they're talking their book to an extent. Having said that the price of 944s is very cheap considering what they are - a modern classic. I would say they have more chance of appreciation than 928s simply because of starting from such a low base and are more affordable for registration, fuel, etc - not that it means much over the lifetime of a car but people do think about these things. Make mine a guards red turbo thanks.
LeeM Posted 20March, 2015 Report Share Posted 20March, 2015 It's bound to happen I reckon
tazzieman Posted 20March, 2015 Report Share Posted 20March, 2015 Excellent new for those planning to sell (not me). The big question is whether 924s will ever go up , like the 914 has.
cyberpunky Posted 21March, 2015 Author Report Share Posted 21March, 2015 Can't see it Taz. The skinny hips or rather complete lack oh hips will always hold them back IMO, when you can move a year or 2 and get a car with booty Dont get me wrong I like them and would go a martini 924 for sure but the later cars just look sooo much better to me and I think most ppl but who knows lack of running exmples and becuase of 944 numbers they could just as easily take off
