npvpositive Posted 27March, 2015 Report Share Posted 27March, 2015 Planning on restoring the seats on my 71S this year. The two names I keep hearing are Prostich or Car Interiors Plus (in Artarmon). Anyone had any good/bad experiences with them or another suggestion? Thanks!
Flatout Posted 27March, 2015 Report Share Posted 27March, 2015 I've been to Prostich. Nice guy & does very nice work, although cheap is not a word I'd use to describe him by any stretch. Used him on a previous car, not the Porsche. Although I remember he did own one when I was there.
SteveF Posted 27March, 2015 Report Share Posted 27March, 2015 + 1 Prostitch. They did the headliner and door pockets on mine. The owner is Porsche guy and has a 356. Not the cheapest but very happy with the service and results.
911sies Posted 27March, 2015 Report Share Posted 27March, 2015 I've used Car Interiors Plus on my old Lotus Exige. Got them to retrim some of the interior in alcantara. Very good job, and also very honest in what I should expect, quality-wise. I remember seeing a few 1960's Merc SL's, couple of Maseratis etc, which is always a good sign. 1q2w3e4r Posted 28April, 2015 Report Share Posted 28April, 2015 Prostitch- John does all Ron Goodman's cars and resto work, so a few concourse winners under his belt. I'd maybe try calling and asking for him direct?

Written Posted 29May, 2015 Report Share Posted 29May, 2015 I've heard quite a few good things about Stitched Up Custom Trim in Tuggerah. I haven't personally used them but they seem to do a lot of big $ cars. Alternatively Sydney Motor Trimmers has done quite a few classic Porsches. http://www.stitcheduptrim.com/
