There have been some nasty comments from those being named and shamed (though they did deserve it) and have threatened legal action for public defamation, with FB boffins removing the pictures of the offending drivers.I have no idea how they would go in court, yet there have been people successfully suing people due to FB posts Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Some have even tried to make a business out of it by selling it as a service to fleet owners.All have failed, as this will, to. Nobody wants to pay bandwidth, storage and upkeep / moderation costs for a bunch of whiners and snitchers.Hip social media is not a defence against saying nasty things about people. Ask the people who slandered a British MP about that. Dash cams will make a bigger difference over time. Also cyclist cams. Always something to think about when trying a kamikaze overtaking manouvre early on a Sunday morning. Not that I would ever do such a thing, of course.
