9er Posted 31August, 2015 Report Share Posted 31August, 2015 Looking at the exchange rate, I think they might run to about $5500 landed with duty paid?

KBGr4 Posted 1September, 2015 Report Share Posted 1September, 2015 Remember before you part with any cash to check the throttle spindles and butterfly's for wear or else you might find getting them rebuilt more costly than buying new
Mick Posted 1September, 2015 Author Report Share Posted 1September, 2015 Had a chat to the guy that looks after my car and he suggested throttle bodies which would still look cool and work better with what we have and will actually be cheaper win win. KBGr4 Posted 2September, 2015 Report Share Posted 2September, 2015 Sorry I don't want to rain on your parade, but dont forget that an engine management system is required and then Dyno Tune time (hours) to set it all up properly with an experienced operator....its expensive....very. Been there done that and ended up using PMO's as they usually come pretty well set up if you can supply sufficient data on engine spec .
Mick Posted 2September, 2015 Author Report Share Posted 2September, 2015 My cars already got autronics and MSD on it now it's a 3.0 with 3.2 manifold it's a long good hot rod and just wanted that old school look under the hood, so instead of PMO's he suggested injected trumpets. He reckons it will be a pretty easy conversion and still look cool with the benifit of efi. So if anyone has a set of efi trumpets let me know.
