Metal Re-Fabrication Query: 993 Mufflers

Recommended Posts

I just bought some 993 mufflers from flea bay that have had tips welded on (figure 1).  I would like to return these mufflers back to factory (figure 2).

Who would I go to for the re fabrication of these mufflers?

And does anyone have any idea of cost?

Cheers and thanks in advance.

PS I am Melbourne based.

Excuse me for asking Gents But who are FDM and were are they situated as I am interested in getting some exhaust mods done................Thank you in advance   :D

FD Motorsports in California, makers of sweet sounding mufflers, Dougs are going there to be modded anyway

Did you ask FD if they could do it ? as they are more likely to have the bits and a jig to get them in the right place than anyone else

Steve has made a good point. Send FDM some photos and ask.

Mark and Darin are very obliging. You should also order a Golden Rod

FD can do, but just exploring my options fellas.

Have just noticed that it looks like the whole outlet pipe has been replaced and not just the muffler tip.  The factory outlet pipe has a kink.  Probs just get FD to re fabricate this while doing the louder mods.

I bought my mufflers straight out of USA and had them shipped direct to FDM in Cali.  I wanted to keep the originals and purchased another set to get modified.
