Stepo Posted 7August, 2012 Report Share Posted 7August, 2012 Hi guys, Looking at all these lovely engines , would really like to get my dull / pitted fan back to its original glory. Thought about the darker housing with charcoal grey fan, but am steering back to original whilst hoping to eliminate re-pitting. Jnr; I like the look of the first pic in your first post (25/08/11), and looks like a similar style with pics from 11/11/11. Presume that's a powdercoat with zinc yellow pulley? Can you recall the colours and if its the same colour on the fan and housing? Would the colour be called magnesium???? Has anyone heard about ceramic powdercoating and its benefits? I understand you need to be careful with clearances between the fan and housing, but this is more an issue with polishing and removing too much material, rather than powdercoating. Any comments or expieriences would be well received. Thanks, Stepo
